I like your work and respect you doing two different things that you love. Your passion shows through in both worlds. I am an artist too so enjoy reading about your work & life. Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteNancy-
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for such a kind note. I appreciate you taking the time to comment, as I know we all live busy lives. The fact that you took a moment of your day to say that to me means so much to me! I will definitely keep posting about my two worlds. Also, if you have a blog or photos of your own artwork, I would love to check it out in return!
I had a blog for a while but now just a web site & keeping up with my kids is a lot for me. I may add on a blog after a while. I'm impressed with the duality of your life and happy that you've chosen to pursue both. I may have to start my blog again. My stuff is www.NancyJoyceGallery.com & www.Facebook/NancyJoyceGallery.com. I keep checking out your art, I may just have to live vicariously through you - you are a gorgeous, visual muse!!
ReplyDeleteHello Valerie,
ReplyDeleteMy name is Tasha, I'm a young artist working on my last year/spring art show at the university I attend. My direction is also focused on the female body, but more around the body image society portrays and the idea of self loathing the body one has. I just wanted to say your images were inspiring (especially 'profile picture' where the body is out of proportion, very slim and seductively posed). I think your blog is a great idea to share your work and get your name out there, kudos! also love your videos, it's great to see how other artists work. -Tasha Bradbury (tbradbury@eou.edu)
Nice art work Valerie! I would like to see your studio and some of your artwork sometime. Are you in the cities? We have a big space to hang art at the studio, I want to come check them out.
